Extension and Technology Transfer

Key technology transfer events:

Swine Breeding Management Workshops – usually over a two-day period in April each year and involving:

1. Internal and external speakers addressing cutting edge technologies and application of R&D to breeding herd management.
2. Afternoon small group sessions in the Swine Research & Technology Centre.

University of Alberta / University of Minnesota Leman Pre-conference Reproduction Workshop. Now in its sixth year, and held in late September.

Banff Pork Seminar – Now in its 40th year and held in January.
